Palatinka
During a stay of five years
in 'la douce France', the internet shop
PALATINKA was born, inspired by French retro design.
Palatinka designs lovely colorful products for children and
their parents.
Original new products, such as the handmade quilts and paintings. But also vintage products
- looking for a second life - have found their place at our internet shop. Retro
products and materials... it's not only very ecological, but Palatinka is quite 'amoureux'
with seventies prints and designs.
The webshop is no longer open, due to other activities, but be inspired!
The products

Original
paintings: art or kitsch?
Colorful paintings in oil and acrylic. It's possible to
order a painting 'tailor made' by Palatinka, for example with a specific color palette, image
or text. All paintings are
handmade and unique. They vary in different aspects, but you can
always recognize the handwriting of the artist.
Have you seen the lovely screenprints by Mini Labo - Paris, and Nathalie Lété?
Colorful postcards, designed by French illustrators such as Mini Labo and
100drine. Or maybe you want your own, unique design for a birth announcement
card? Ask Palatinka for help. At the cards department you currently find some
examples of birth announcement cards which were printed previously, in a one-
time edition.

Sunny presents & retro gifts. At the presents department you
can
find colorful retro toys and other vintage originals.
Vintage lighting & chandeliers. At the lighting department you
can find some
lovely Italian Tole
flower chandeliers and lamps. These originate from the fifties to
eighties and
they are
made and painted by hand. Palatinka also loves vintage
seventies lamps in aluminium and colored glass.

flower dessins? Très Parisien! At Palatinka you'll
find lovely retro kids
clothing in good vintage condition.

Handmade patchwork quilts. Palatinka is quite
handy with needle and thread,
for making unique patchwork
bedding,
quilts and cushion covers. Made with vintage
seventies cotton, mixed with new fabrics. Each quilt is unique, with each
fabric
combination being one of a kind.
Creative craft ideas and retro coloring images.
Inspired by seventies designs and warm childhood memories.
At the KidsCreations department you'll find DIY instructions for French
knitting, and lots of other crafty projects!
